Amsterdam RAI is a well-known congress centre in Amsterdam Zuid. Qbic Hotel receives many guests that travel of to Amsterdam to visit a congress at the RAI. Since they don’t always know how to get there, we have made a list with the best ways to travel to the RAI.
Travelling by car
If you are travelling by car then you will have no difficulties finding the congress centre. Once you are near Amsterdam, you will find several signs that indicate the direction to Amsterdam RAI. You will find them at the A1, A2 and A4. Amsterdam RAI is located at the Ringweg, exit 9. The exit will lead you straight to the Amsterdam RAI parking area.
Amsterdam RAI train station
The RAI has its own railway station. This is rather handy if you travel by public transport. A train arrives every 15 minutes. There are several connections between the RAI railway station and Duivendrecht, Schiphol Amsterdam Airport, Amsterdam-Zuid and Amsterdam Amstel. The railway stations are linked to the international Intercity Network. You can check the website of NS for the timetable.
Using Amsterdam tram lines
The tram transport is well organized in Amsterdam. This also applies to the tram traffic towards the congress center. If you travel from the center of Amsterdam you can use line 4. It runs back and forth between RAI and Amsterdam Central Station.
You can also use the metro in order to get to Amsterdam RAI. There are several metros you can choose from. If you are travelling from Amsterdam Central Station or Amsterdam Amstel you can take metro number 50. Are you traveling from Amsterdam Sloterdijk or Gein? In that case you can take metro 51.
Using the Amsterdam bus service
If you want to take the bus, it is best to travel from the Amsterdam Amstel station. Here you can take bus 65. This bus will take you straight to Amsterdam RAI.
