Qbic is a game-changing hotel concept that rips up the rulebook of traditional hospitality to offer a better hotel experience.
We are the result of a lot of thinking, debating and sketching of what a city hotel should be – a hotel that not only offers great design at a fair price, but that is also part of a vibrant local community and has sustainability at its heart.
Qbic is already responding to the demands of Millenial travellers by delivering all the essentials they value, and none of the frills they don’t need.
Our Quintessentials: an incredibly comfortable bed, a great shower, free and super-fast WiFi , a spotlessly clean room, and great service
Proof of concept
After the success of the first hotel in Amsterdam, Qbic opened a second hotel in London’s East End in November 2013, with backing from sustainable investor Bridges Ventures.
The site, a disused office building in Whitechapel, was transformed into a modern 171-hotel featuring innovative design, sustainable practices and community initiatives.
Each of the bedrooms is futuristic and stylish in design and features a compact, cube-shaped ‘pod’ called a ‘Qbi’, which includes the bathroom and the bed, while bespoke, handmade furniture and locally sourced fixtures and fittings also add personality.
High occupancy levels and many happy returning costumers are the best proof that our formula works, and we are extremely proud of all the awards and industry recognitions that our hotel has received. Currently, we are the only hotel in London with a Platinum Level rating by TripAdvisor GreenLeaders Programme.
“Green credentials, modern pragmatism, quirky style and sociability are the revolutionary values at the heart of Qbic, that set it apart from all other hotels.”
Our business is now entering a new phase of growth. We are currently actively looking for suitable sites for more hotels, across the UK and beyond. More information about our property search and site requirements can be found here
