The rule goes like this: if it exists, London has a festival to celebrate it. Thankfully, cheese is one of the few things actually deserving of a festival, so tirelessly crafted as it is across the globe. So celebrate we will. Pop down to Camden Market this weekend and you will experience an event so cheesy that it’ll make the movie Armageddon look like a bowl of porridge. All of the cheese on offer, from gouda to blue to plain ol’ cheddar, will be from British producers, and considering the impending Brexit, we may have to get used to not having bloody delicious French cheeses available at our beckon call. And besides, British cheese is underrated.
If you’re into your cheese theory, there will be a series of talks from top urban cheesemakers. On top of that, there’ll be some live acoustic music and plenty of delish booze to wash down the cheese.
