London City Airport
London City Airport is located between the two major centres of finance and commerce in London, the City and Canary Wharf, and these two areas provide the majority of the users of the airport. First proposed in 1981, building was finally completed in 1987. Due to the close proximity to Central London, strict measures are in place to limit noise pollution from aircraft. This, along with the comparatively small dimensions of the runway, means that only certain types of aircraft can use the airport.
Docklands Light Railway serves the airport, along with several bus routes, and therefore many hotels near London City Airport are suitable for business travellers to London. Qbic Hotel London has all the ingredients for a perfect stay in London: soundless rooms, free wifi and ideal for late check in/ early check out flights.
