Canoe along east London’s canals

Canoe 2

Although we’ve already given our top tips on the best places to eat by the canal in an earlier post, we’ve got into the whole summer thing quite enthusiastically (not wearing shorts is a distant memory). We’ve moved on to actually getting into the water on a canoe and kayak. Offering the best way to see all the surprisingly charming scenery east London has to offer, the guys at Moo Canoe will plan out a route to fit your plans and ability through a two or four hour slot. Setting off from Limehouse basin, you can head along the Limehouse Cut towards the Olympic Stadium and Crate Brewery or up Regent’s Canal to Broadway Market and the Towpath cafe. Complete the 9.3km Moo challenge loop to see the lot, or have a more leisurely trip with plenty of food and drink stops – canoe wheels are provided to easily move around off the water. More info can be found on the Moo Canoe website.
