To mark the Spring season The Broadgate have an exciting exhibition that makes up part of the ‘Urban Eden Season’
The ideas and concepts of this exhibition are strongly linked with sustainability, wellbeing and green themes, all of which make a perfect match for us right!
Who is Julie Leonard you ask?
Well – Julie Leonard is a painter, printmaker and on screen iPhone digital artist who lives and works in London. She is best known for her use of creative digital imagination using her iPhone as an electronic sketch book, her eye for detail made her an expert in observing everyday situations throughout her London community and she tells a story with every piece.
Julie’s ‘Capturing London’ exhibition begins on Saturday 1st April until 1st September at the Broadgate. The pieces in this work are of various cityscapes, landscapes and portraits taken from drawings created in Situ by Julie on her iPhone and iPad – way to demonstrate how digital technology influences modern art.
The next time you find yourself wondering around, remember the Broadgate is not just for shopping – it is a great oasis for people to see art, have some lunch and even relax.
The exhibition is FREE to view just confirm your visit by emailing the art curator Rosie Glenn at firstname.lastname@example.org
