Burberry’s Makers’ House was one of the surprises of last year’s culture calendar. What could have been a thinly veiled plug for the almost ubiquitous fashion brand turned out to be a real celebration of British craftsmanship and an eye-opening window into such trades as book-binding and jewellery making. So we’re glad to see it back and doubly stoked because this version is also inspired by one of the absolute titans of UK art – Henry Moore. There are rare sculptures by the great man on display as well as some of his working models (which fits right in with craftsmanship emphasis here). Throw in a beautiful new collection and some tasty food and drink and you have a wonderful (and free) exhibition.
