When two identical twins from Belfast started a crowdfunding campaign to open the UK’s first cereal cafe, it bombed. The idea of a cafe serving a hundred types of cereals, twelve types of milk and twenty different toppings didn’t sail with the crowdfunding lot. The brothers only raised £1000 of their £60,000 target, but they did gain enough of a cult following to make a cafe entirely dedicated to cereal a reality.
Cereal Killer Cafe will open their cardboard doors on Brick Lane this December. Serving a sugary array of novelty cereals from breakfast through dinner. If you’re a child of the 80s or 90s then this will feel like a shrine to some happy childhood memories.
