We are Fam-i-ly and we’re here for London Pride.
The Pride Festival takes place from Saturday 24 June to Sunday 9 July 2017. Making its big return to the streets of London to show the world how individuals from every background come together to raise awareness of LGBT+ issues and campaign for the freedoms that will allow them to live their lives on a genuinely equal footing.
Pride includes people of every race and faith, whether disabled or able-bodied, and all sexualities and genders including lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, queer, questioning, intersex, trans*, genderqueer, gender variant or non-binary as well as straight and cis allies.
Pride in London is run entirely by volunteers, and we at Qbic are big believers of championing independents and of course supporting the community… that’s the spirit !
This year’s Pride in London parade takes place on Saturday, 8 July. It starts at 1pm, and takes a 1.4-mile (2.3km) route starting north of Oxford Circus on Regent Street. The main theme is to show that “Love Happens Here”.
