The London Festival of Architecture celebrates London as a global hub of architectural experimentation, practice and debate. With over 400 events as part of the festival it is near impossible to see them all, luckily the official website has hand-picked a selection of some of the most interesting, engaging and creative locations recommended not to miss. This is Europe’s biggest annual architecture festival attracting over 400,000 people in 2017! Events within the festival include walking tours, exhibitions, workshops, talks, open studios and architectural cake competitions, with a lot of them being free, to view current and upcoming events click here.
One of our highlights is the treehouse at Battersea Power Station, pictured above, the architectural piece is designed and crafted by members of London practice Studio Kyson. Charred timber and smoked mirrors create a contrasting and unique structure exploring form, light and texture.
