Seeing as it’s Chocolate Week this month, it made sense for us to get involved in all the choc-tivities happening. We teamed up with Food At Heart to bring you two evening tasting sessions on the 10th and 12th to explore the joy of chocolate, right here in the Qbic lounge.

Say yes to day time drinking… and night time drinking… say yes to London Cocktail Week from the 2nd – 8th! The cocktail village at Old Spitafields is the heart and soul of cocktail week which can only be described as ‘a maze of pop-up bars, experiences and food stalls’… YES Please.
SEE – CAFE ART MY EAST LONDON EXHIBITION
If you know us – then you’ll know all about our relationship with Cafe Art. We asked them to work with us on a special ‘My East London’ photo series project for our rooms. The images were all so great we’re even having a whole exhibition installed in the Qbic lounge from the 2nd so everyone can take in and appreciate the talent!
LISTEN – LONDON LITERATURE FESTIVAL
Remember the quote “literature is life”? – don’t worry we don’t either but this festival is one you need to attend. Clearly BBC are delivering this month with another one from them. If you’re a fan of live music from high-profile artists and a hand full of legends then this ones for you! They’re taking it outdoors on the 9th at Hyde Park!
DO – BASEFIT
Who said you need sunshine to enjoy a workout outdoors? Either way we’re pretty sure after working up a sweat at London’s premier outdoor fitness training site, you wont remember what season we’re in! This one’s down the rad from us… Don’t be stuck in doors.
GO – MONIKER ART FAIR
The Moniker Art Fair returns to the Old Truman Brewery for it’s eighth edition from the 5th – 8th. The art fair is all about highlighting the journey of urban contemporary art. If like us you’re completely fascinated by how street art found it’s platform in the big art world then you won’t be disappointed.
SHOP – CAMDEN MARKET
Camden market is all about diversity and creativity. They open every day so if you don’t find what you’re after one day, you’re sure to find it the next day… However with over 1,000 places to shop, eat, drink and unwind we’re pretty sure there’s something for everyone!
PARTY – OKTOBERFEST LONDON
Germany comes to London from the 5th -8th… Millwall Park to be precise. Oktoberfest means you can enjoy live music, a great atmosphere and even better beer as you experience Bavarian culture for the day. Think authentic tents, beer and food!
KIDS – KIDROPOLIS
Imagine all your child’s favourite characters in one room ready to offer games, goody bags and even a meet and great?… Well that’s actually a thing! Kidropolis comes to Excel on the 23rd – 26th, just in time for the half term.
