Brunch. It’s the most important meal of the day. So having arrived at Zona N16 in a rather delicate state on a Sunday morning, I can confirm that it goes quite a long way towards curing any booze-related ailments. The vibe is nice and relaxed, the music is at just the right level, and the food is bloody fantastic. The innovative menu features purposefully light-weight dishes including a pulled pork Benedict – two poached eggs, hollaindaise sauce served on fluffy croissant halves – and salt beef Benedict – the same, but swapping out the pork for beef with a drizzle of mustard and some pickles. I know, it sounds pretty bizarre. But I promise you it works! Throw in some lovely fresh pressed juices, some tasty coffee and pleasant chatter, and you’re halfway to making it out of the morning alive.
