The Queen of Hoxton are refusing to let winter nights ruin the fun of rooftop parties. Rather than packing up the terrace bar for the next six months, QoH has converted the outdoor space into a woodland playground filled with overgrown twisted vines. It’s all centred around a giant wigwam complete with a massive barbecue grill and moss covered tree stumps. Outside the wigwam, the deck is covered in fire pits to keep you warm, as well as toast marshmallows on.
The kitchen will serve up a special winter menu including apricot and herb stuffed pork and sloe gin pulled lamb, while there’s also a seasonal cocktails menu. Both the whiskey and ginger liqueur hot toddy and the hot buttered rum will undoubtedly be hits as it gets colder. To top it all off, the roof will host a series of winter workshops including origami on national origami day and a masterclass from the Cocktail Gardner centred around the use of flowers and herbs.
