Sardine is not nearly as cramped as its name let’s on. Instead the light-filled space is casual and intimate all at once. Taking inspiration from the Mediterranean coastlines: from the south of France and Italy’s Almalfi Coast. then all the way to Spain’s Catalonia region – the menu is quite a mouthful. Packed with innovative small plates of fresh ingredients, the flavoursome creations make sharing difficult. Expect pistou soup and lamb à la ficelle, that’s a leg cooked over an open fire, to roasted fennel and homemade gnocchi. This humble little tin is all about simple rugged cooking with an authentic Mediterranean taste. It’s set in the gallery space Parasol Unit so you can feed your soul as well as your belly without moving too far!
