We are recruiting for a full-time English-speaking floor manager to join our vibrant, successful and passionate team at Qbic Hotel London.
As Duty Manager you will ensure that each and every guest receives quick, efficient and professional service that builds loyalty and helps them get the most out of their stay. Your main responsibilities will be within the front of house area, but there will also be a multi skilled aspect to your role, to allow you to adapt quickly in order to meet guest needs and also to support your own development.
A passion for great service and a drive for guest satisfaction.
Comfortable in a frontline role facing the public and handling guests’ queries.
An open personality who is relaxed and natural in their interactions.
Ensuring that all hotel and company standards are maintained.
To assist the hotel manager in leading an effective service team including training and development, supervision and performance management in order the ensure guests satisfaction.
To assist with the reservations process when required and ensure that all reservations are put into the system correctly.
Fully knowledgeable about hotel guest rooms, rates, promotions, amenities, programs, hotel facilities and services.
To focus on guests’ feedback, online reviews and answer them in a timely manner.
To liaise closely with Housekeeping regarding room availability and set up.
To be fully aware of all food and beverage offerings including the restaurant, bar and room service.
Must create a positive, energetic working environment by maintaining high morale and productivity.
Ensure that each guest receives the highest level of customer service and engagement during each interaction.
Additional ad-hoc duties as requested.
Systems, Knowledge & Experience
Two years’ experience in hotel reception in a supervision role
Good level of written and spoken English
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Can do positive attitude, self-starter, action orientated
