When you’re on a shopping spree in Amsterdam, we highly recommend visiting one or more concept stores. These stores frequently combine fashion with curiosities for your home, unique handmade items, and in most cases even a coffee corner, and they have so many interesting things you may even find you’re having a hard time choosing what to get.
Located in the heart of the Red Light District, KOKO Coffee & Design is a place that stimulates all the senses. Owners Karlijn and Caroline carefully select every single fashion item in the shop, resulting in a perfectly balanced combination of Scandinavian everyday basics, unique pieces, and Dutch design. Maybe you’ll even find your next vintage leather sofa or a vintage school chair. At KOKO’s coffee bar you can get a delicious cup of coffee made from beans roasted at Caffènation Specialty Coffee Roasters in Antwerp, a micro-roastery and coffee bar that has been making waves in Belgium and abroad. We definitely recommend their Aeropress coffee!
