Guess what dear Dance Lovers, from 18 through 22 October Amsterdam is your place to go to, as the city hosts the world’s biggest celebration of dance music with events in around 160 locations all over the city. Put your hands up for Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) 2017!
With over 2500 artists and more than 1000 events, it might be damn hard to set up your ADE schedule. Maybe our personal recommendations can be of any help! Right under the Rijksmuseum, at the Rijksmuseum Passage, Audio Obscura X Underworld will perform on Friday 20 October. Not only is Underworld one of electronic’s music most legendary acts, also the Bicycle Passage is the perfect backdrop for a memorable live show. National radio station 3FM will broadcast live from ADE on the 10th floor of the A’DAM Tower, so if you’re not afraid of heights this might be one of the best views during ADE. From Wednesday 28 October through Saturday 21 October 3FM welcomes a label or DJ collective to perform a set from 8:00 to 10:00 PM. These sets are accessible for everyone free of charge and the lineup will be announced just before the broadcast. And what do you think about the ADE Closing party in Shelter, the basement of the A’DAM Tower!?
One of the things we absolutely love about ADE is their ADE Green programme to work on meaningful solutions for the future. We do everything we can to make Qbic the greenest hotel and therefore we appreciate other organisations that work on a bigger cause too. How cool would it be if ADE would implement green energy or eliminate the use of plastic at the festival? More information on ADE Green can be found here.
No worries if you loose track trying to catch one of the 2,000 artists. We get that. Lucky for you ADE has set up two Info & Tickets Centers where you can find all the information you need and buy tickets or merchandise during ADE. You can find the ADE Info & Tickets Centers right here:
Are you totally set for the biggest dance party of the year, but forgot to arrange a place to crash? Well, we’ve got news for you! We have a few ADE hotel rooms left so don’t miss out on your smart way to stay. And do not forget to pack your pair of dancing shoes.
See you during ADE!
