Zuidas culinary summer event

This Friday, 26 June, over 20 restaurants, lunchrooms, bars and other companies located on the Zuidas (Amsterdams ‘south axis’ in Dutch, a business district) get together for the Zuidas culinary summer event. Qbic is one of the participants and we’re serving delicious home made sangria so make sure you’ll stop by for a drink! Wine, fruit, cinnamon sticks and sugar have been stocked up, waiting to get mixed into Qbic sangria.

The culinary summer event is going to be fun for everyone, a typically Dutch party. All participants will be joining forces on the ‘Zuidplein’ serving oysters and champaign, hotdogs, soft shell crab burgers, Japanese fingerfood, splendid wines and even more, just to give you the opportunity to get to know all culinary hotspots located in the Zuidas district. Qbic is serving great tasting sangria, stand number 8! All together there are more than 20 stands to visit for some food and drinks. You can pay with tokens which you can buy for €2.50 each.

From 5 until 6 PM the Amsterdam Fringe Festival will be performing on the Zuidplein. ‘An unselected, untamed and uncensored festival’ is what they call themselves. An ode to theatrical madness, the independent spirit and a mindset for artistical freedom. In September the festival will last 11 days, presenting 80 performances on more than 40 different locations in Amsterdam. From 6 PM onwards WTCafé De Blauwe Engel will be the main stage for a typically Dutch summer party hosted by artists DJ Theo, Frans Duits, Quincy, Show me 90’s, amongs others. The party ends at midnight so you can spend the night in Qbic Hotel WTC Amsterdam or go into town for one more hour or two.
See you on Friday somewhere between 5 PM and midnight? Maybe we’ll reveal our secret sangria recipe…
