Amsterdam is carrying out major work on the Zuidasdok from the end of July to the beginning of October, widening and tunnelling the A10 motorway and completely renovating Zuid Station. As this also affects the accessibility of Qbic Hotel WTC Amsterdam, read all about how to reach the hotel during this period here. The hotel is right around the corner from the station and convenient to the motorway, albeit with some adjustments for a while.

Accessibility main entrance Qbic

Because works are taking place near the hotel, there will be traffic controllers for both pedestrians and motorists. The works will take place during the day, so no worries about your night’s rest. If you indicate that you are coming for Qbic, a traffic controller will escort you to the entrance. The traffic controllers will be on the side of Station Zuid (for pedestrians) and on the side of Beethovenstraat / Mathijs Vermeulenpad entrance (for motorists).

By public transport

Qbic is around the corner from Station Zuid; the station will remain in use as normal for trains and metro. Due to possible timetable changes, please check www.ns.nl (train) or www.9292ov.nl (metro) before your journey.

By car from 5 to 14 August

During these days, part of motorways A4 and A10 South will be closed from Badhoevedorp junction to slip road S109 RAI for traffic towards Hengelo (A1) and Utrecht (A2).You will therefore be diverted via the A9 and A5. The road closure will only take place in this direction, so you will be inconvenienced almost exclusively when you drive away from Qbic. For parking, navigate to the main entrance of Qbic (Mathijs Vermeulenpad 1) so we can direct you to the car park (P WTC). A traffic controller will stand at the street entrance and give you passage towards Qbic. Or drive directly to the WTC car park by following the P WTC signs.
